Tournament FAQ

What are the skill level requirements for tournaments?

Shadowplay tournaments accommodate all skill levels. We organize separate brackets for Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Professional divisions. Skill-based matchmaking ensures fair competition within each tier.

How is the prize pool distributed?

Prize distribution varies by tournament but typically allocates 40% to first place, 25% to second, 15% to third, and remaining funds to top 8-16 finishers. Complete prize breakdowns are shown before tournament registration.

Can I compete in multiple tournaments simultaneously?

Yes, you can register for multiple tournaments running on different schedules. However, if match times overlap, you must choose which tournament to participate in. We recommend checking schedules before registration.

What happens if I disconnect during a match?

If you disconnect, you have a grace period of 5 minutes to reconnect without forfeiting. If you cannot reconnect within this window, you lose the match automatically. Repeated disconnections may result in tournament penalties.
